OxBox Inline Isolatz-HD is a simple,compast, passive low cost hum isolator. Its design is based upon a high quality broadband high pass filter which provides DC electrical isolation between two pieces of equipment with differing ground potentials. It is transparent to the signal and allows bandwidth of the signal, up to SD-SDI to pass through unchanged. This device is suitable for ASI, SDI and HD/SDI format signals up to 1.485 GHz as its non-inverting.

It is transparent to the signal and allows bandwidth of the signal, up to SD-SDI to pass through unchanged. This device is suitable for ASI, SDI and SD/SDI format signals up to 540 MHz as its non-inverting.

The GI04AV is designed to eliminate video hum in environments that may have differing ground potentials associated with fixed and temporary installations. There are numerous circumstances in both fixed and temporary video installations, such as outside broadcasts, concerts or events where a variety of power sources may be employed across a variety of equipment used on site. Often, a real difference in ground potential exists between equipment and this causes current to flow in the outer of the interconnecting coax cables. This ripple current manifests itself as hum on the video and can be sufficiently severe as to completely disrupt the picture displayed on a monitor. The source of the ripple is normally of quite low-impedance and can deliver significant current. The Hum-bucker type of hum eliminator will saturate under these conditions and cease to provide any hum elimination, however Oxygen DCT's GI04AV will provide electrical isolation between the equipment, eliminating the ripple currents and restoring good video performance. Whilst the GlueBox GI04AV is flexible enough to be used in a variety of indoor and out door locations it is not designed to be used in wet condition nor is it water proof to IP 65 standards.
