OxBox Inline Splitz-3G is a miniature, passive serial digital splitter which provides two full broadcast quality outputs from a HDTV input signal, for data rates up to 3Ghz. As a completely passive device, it is ideal for applications where power is not available such as remote sights, aviation or transport applications. Its' miniature size means that it can be used in very small places, such as in aircraft, racing cars and motorcycles. For fixed applications, such as studios, control rooms or master control rooms, where multiple units are required a 1RU, 19" rack mount shelf if available.

To achieve the specified performance the input signal should be to necessary SMPT or EBU specifications and have an impedance ot 75 ohms. Both inputs must be terminated with 75 ohms and therefore, if an output cable is not present, an appropriate performance (HDTV/SDI) 75 ohm termination should be used.
