ACS use 4:4:4 HD LCDs at BBC's Sports Personality of the Year Awards Aerial Camera Systems (ACS) put their latest Evolution Pro-Plus LCDs straight into service at BBC's annual Sports Personality of The Year Awards. This prestigious annual event, with a line up of Britain's best sporting achievers, was supported by ACS who supplied a 40m flown MKIII Railcam system fitted with a HD Cineflex V14 Stabilised Camera Mount, providing stunning overhead live tracking shots of the ceremony, essential to the live production hosted for the first time at the ERA in Liverpool. As the ACS cameras flew across the arena, Oxygen DCTs very newest Evolution Pro Plus LCDs provided the essential picture monitoring. These high quality 17" displays enable ACS to monitor 4:4:4 (HD) signals as well as all other signal formats, at the same time providing lightweight and compact monitoring facilities for both aerial and location work. ACS is the first camera company in the UK to use the new Evolution Pro-Plus LCDs, extending their services for their clients. A unique picture and picture (PAP) function enables two separate video feeds to be monitored simultaneously, which means that having just one monitor for two cameras saves weight and reduces on site set up time as well as simplifying camera colour alignment and shot checking. Oxygen DCTs Evolution Series LCDs are the number one choice of universal picture monitors for many, including SKY TV, ITV, BBC, Moving Picture Company, Ascent Media and many others.
